Mosley comes to DSU after establishing herself as a rising leader in collegiate athletics through coaching, administration, player development, and program rebuilding.
Mosley most recently served as Interim Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Lincoln University, where she stepped in during a transitional period to provide leadership, stability, and guidance for the program while overseeing day-to-day operations and student-athlete development.
Prior to her role at Lincoln, Mosley served as Head Women’s Basketball Coach and Interim Athletic Director at Cheyney University. Under Mosley’s leadership, Cheyney recorded its most wins in a single season since 2010-11, marking a major milestone in the program’s resurgence.
Before Cheyney, Mosley worked as an assistant coach on both the men’s and women’s basketball staff at Lincoln University, where she built a reputation for her strong player development, scouting preparation, analytics, and ability to connect with student-athletes. Throughout her coaching career, she has helped develop multiple All-Conference performers, award-winning players, and championship-level student-athletes.
Mosley began her collegiate coaching career at Fayetteville State University, where she contributed to back-to-back CIAA Southern Division championships and nationally ranked defensive performances.
A former collegiate student-athlete, Mosley played at Johnson C. Smith University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. She later earned her MBA from Fayetteville State University.
A North Carolina native, Mosley was an All-State selection and the 2010 District Eight Player of the Year at Union Pines High School. In 2019, she was inducted into the Union Pines High School Hall of Fame in recognition of her accomplishments and lasting impact on the program.
Known for her passion, energy, and commitment to mentorship, Mosley continues to build a reputation as a respected leader and developer of talent within collegiate basketball.
