PRINCETON, NJ -- The Delaware State University continued their last meet before MEAC Championships on May 2nd - 3rd.
The meet was highlighted by Freshman,
Ian Cain and Sophomore,
Marian Drazan record breaking times in DSU History.
Ian Cain stole the show in the 800m run, clinching 1st place with a stunning time of 1:51.96, making him the #2 in DSU School History! This is a huge personal record (PR) for Ian!
In the 1500m run, Marian Drazan, our talented sophomore, secured a fantastic 3rd place finish with a time of 3:53.51. He now holds the #1 spot in DSU School History.
Christopher Johnson showcased his skills in the shot put, finishing 4th with an impressive throw of 16.16m (53.1"). Alonzo Sims made his mark in the 400m hurdles, placing 5th with a time of 52.60 and earning the title of #9 in DSU school history. Ja'Mari Manson reached new heights with his 8th place finish in the high jump, clearing an impressive 2.0m.
Donovan Dixon also put forth a strong effort, finishing 9th in the 400m hurdles with a season best time of 54.96.
