Flushing, N.Y. (Apr. 18) --- The Delaware State tennis team made the most of its visit to one of the sports’ most famous venues.  The Hornets defeated St. Francis Brooklyn 4-0 at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home of the U.S. Open.

Delaware State won each of the three contested singles matches and two doubles contests.

DSU’s Milan Graves was a 5-2 winner at No. 1 singles, while Elvira Galieva posted a 6-2 victory in the No. 2 contest.

Sofia Rachi was dominant in a 6-0 win at No. 3  

Rachi and Galieva also teamed up for a 6-3 victory in the No. 1 doubles match. The Hornets also took the No. 2 doubles contest, a 6-2 victory for the team of Leza Bessonova and Aauyshi  Chouhan.
