Phila., Pa. (Oct. 22, 2018) --- The University of Pennsylvania continued its solid play this season with a 6-0 victory over Delaware State at Rhodes Field Monday evening. The Quakers scored three goals in each period to improve to 12-1-1 this season.

Abbey Duncan came off the bench to record two goals and an assist, while Paige Howard and Cameron Keating tallied a goal and assist each to lead the way.

The Hornets kept pace with the Quakers for the first 24 minutes before Abby Reed broke the ice with a goal off a corner kick to give Penn a 1-0 lead.

The Quakers open up a 2-0 lead when Duncan scored her first goal on a free kick in the 36th minute. She tallied her second goal in the 83rd minute to give the hosts a 5-0 advantage.

The Hornets were outshot 29-5 in the contest, including 14-1 in shots on goal.

DSU goal keeper Leslie Fazio was credited with eight saves in the match.

Delaware State (3-13-2) will close out its 2018 season on Oct. 30 at Brown. The match is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. in Providence, R.I.
