Dover, Del. (Sep. 4, 2018) --- Fresh off a 1-1 road trip, including its lone victory of the season, the Delaware State women’s soccer team is back in action on Wed. (Sep. 5) against St. Peter’s College. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. at DE Turf on Route 113 in Frederica, Del.

The Hornets wrapped up their latest road swing with a 4-1 loss to USC Upstate on Sunday. DSU began the trip with a 1-0 victory over UNC Asheville on Friday. Jade Jamison (jr.) scored the lone goal of the match in the 40th minute. Jamison is tops on the Hornets with two goals this season.

Delaware State goal keeper Leslie Fazio recorded a season-high nine saves in the USC Upstate contest.

St. Peter’s is seeking its first win of the season. The Peahens fell to 0-4 after a 5-1 loss at Holy Cross last Sunday.

The Hornets are 3-10-1 all-time vs. St. Peters, which posted a 1-0 victory the last time the teams met in 2017 in Jersey City, N.J.
