(Princeton, N.J.) – The Delaware State track & field program wrapped up the IC4A/ECAC Championships over the weekend, hosted by the Princeton Tigers, highlighted by the performances from senior standouts Rayanna Relerford and Charles Wulff-Cochrane.

For Relerford, who has been arguably DSU’s best performer on the women’s side throughout 2015-16, clocked a 54.73 to finish fourth in the 400-Meter Dash.  Relerford’s qualifying performance featured a time of 54.62, whereas her outing in the finals added five points to the Hornets’ team total.  Last week during the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championships, the Bloomfield, Conn., native brought home the 400-Meter Dash bronze medal with a season-best time of 54.57.

In the case of Wulff-Cochrane, he finished fourth (52.20) in the 400-Meter Hurdles qualifying round with his fastest time of the season.  He later followed that up by placing third in the finals with a time of 52.47, resulting in adding six points to DSU’s team total.  Wulff-Cochrane garnered Outstanding Performance honors by the IC4A Track & Field Coaches Association as a member of the All-Eastern championship squad, in addition to qualifying for next week’s NCAA Regional competition in Jacksonville, Fla.
