Dover, Del. (Oct. 24, 2019) --- The Delaware State equestrian team wraps up the fall 2019 portion of its schedule with competitions against Sweet Briar and University of Lynchburg  on Fri. (Oct. 25).  

The action is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Dovington Training Center in Felton.

The Hornets have competed against five opponents this fall, opening the campaign with a Jumping Seat only victory over SUNY-New Paltz, in addition to wins over UC Davis and South Dakota State.

The South Dakota State victory was highlighted by Most Outstanding Performer awards for Sydney Wicklund (Fences) and Zoe Kirsch (Flat).

DSU’s fall defeats have been at the hands of nationally-ranked Baylor (#8) and Tennessee-Martin (#10).

The Hornets were No. 10 in the Oct. 8, 2019 Farnam Team Top 10 Rankings, but fell out by the next poll.

The DSU equestrian team will begin its winter 2020 schedule at Texas Christian on Jan. 30.
