Greensboro, N.C. (Feb. 24, 2019) --- Delaware State has earned a berth in the 2019 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament after finishing third in the final regular season league standings. The Hornets had a team pinfall of 9,119 (3-2 won-loss record) in Baker matches at the second MEAC round-up today to finish conference play with total of 17,139 (12-6 record), trailing only No. 1 Maryland-Eastern Shore (17,485) and runner-up North Carolina A&T (17,430) in the standings.

The top six teams will compete for the conference tournament title in Virginia Beach next month.

MEAC associate members Alabama-Birmingham and Monmouth, along with Howard, will round out the championship tournament field.

Delaware  State will compete in the Monmouth Classic in New Jersey next weekend.
