Greensboro, N.C. (Feb. 5) --- The Delaware State Lady Hornets fall to The North Carolina A&T Aggies 75-55, Monday evening at the Corbett Sports Center.

Delaware State's record drops to 4-19; 3-7 in conference play.

The Lady Hornets opened the game up with back to back three-pointers from Ryan Jones and Alycea Sharpe, to take a brief 6-5 lead.

Delaware State made 4-of-5 three-pointers in the first quarter, but they trailed 23-21 after the first ten minutes of play.

DSU scored just five points in the second quarter, While the Aggies managed to score 12 points in the period. Delaware State trailed 36-25 heading into halftime.

The Aggies opened up the third quarter on a 21-2 run. They outscored the Lady Hornets 29-9 during the period and led 64-35 heading into the fourth quarter.

Delaware State shot 22-of-61 (36.1%) from the field, and 8-of-22 (36.4%) on three-pointers.

Keke Barber led DSU in scoring with 13 points, she also recorded four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Ryan Jones added 10 points, and four assists.

North Carolina A&T made 28-of-77 (36.4%) field goal attempts, but just 4-of-16 (25.0%) from behind-the-arc.

C'Coriea Foy and Cinia McCray led the Aggies with 14 points each.

Up next for the Lady Hornets is a road trip to Virginia to face Norfolk State on Feb 12. Gametime is set for 4:00 pm.
