Durham, N.C. (Feb. 3) --- The Delaware State Lady Hornets fall to the North Carolina Central Eagles 76-60, snapping DSU's two game winning streak on Saturday.

The Lady Hornets' record drops to 4-18 overall; 3-6 in the conference.

NaJai Pollard and Lanayjha Ashe scored 14 of the 16 first quarter points for Delaware State. The Lady Hornets led 16-13 after ten minutes of action.

North Carolina Central outscored Delaware State 24-16 in the second quarter. The Eagles took a 37-32 lead into halftime.

The Lady Hornets cut the deficit to just one point after, A'Nikeyawna "Keke" Barber made a three-pointer with 3:56 left in the third quarter.

N.C Central responded with a 6-0 run, taking a 51-44 lead into the final quarter of play.

The Eagles outscored the Lady Hornets 25-16 in the last ten minutes of action. They led by as many as 17 points, with 42 seconds left in regulation.
