Dover, Del. (Apr. 9) --- NaJai Pollard was named 1st team BOXTOROW All-American for the third consecutive season.

Pollard had a historic senior YEAR as she broke the school’s single season (630 points) and the all-time scoring record (1,988 points). She tied the single game blocks record (seven blocks vs. Cheyney) and reached second on the schools list for rebounds in a career as well (1,033 rebounds).  

The Senior from Richmond, Va. ended the season averaging 22.9 points per game, tops in the MEAC 10.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks.  In addition to being honored by BOXTOROW, Pollard won the MEAC Player of the Year Award and was named as the second-best player on a HBCU team by the Undefeated.
