College Park, MD (Mar. 17th) --- Delaware State finished fourth in overall score with 75 points at the Maryland Invitational, this past weekend.

The relay team provided fourteen points for the Hornets, the 4 x 400 relay team, comprised by Kavante Dawson, Julian Brown, Hanqaamo Lintiso, and Trenson Terry finished second with a time of 3:29.77.


The quartet of Julius Allen, Kiyair Lambert, Kendall Leach, and Edwin Rosembert finished third in the 4x 100 relay with a time of 43.68 seconds.

Trenson Terry, whom help the 4 x 400 relay team finish in second place, also finished in second in the 400-meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 57.49 seconds. In addition, Terry placed third in the long jump with a distance of 6.50 meters.

Adam Funkhouser has carried his success from the indoor season into the outdoor season, he finished second in the pole vault with a distance of 3.82 meters.

Robert Duncan finished third in the Discus with a mark of 45.22 meters.

Aran Lee placed fourth in the Javelin with a toss of 49.87 meters.

Duncan and Lee finished fifth and eighth place respectively in the shot put.

Kendall Leach also finished in eighth place in the 400 meters.

The 3000 meters had five Hornets finish in the top ten. Corey McGhie, Hasan Gill, Seth Danjoint, Attiogbe Komlan, and Jose Infante-Rosales finished 5,6,7,8, and 9th place respectively.

Up next for the Hornets is the Delaware Classic, on March 24th in Newark, Del.
