New York, NY (Jan 12) --- Several Hornets competed in the HBCU Battle at the Track this weekend.  Robert Duncan had a terrific outing, the sophomore finished second in the weight throw, with a distance of 14.06 meters (career best). Duncan’s second place finish was the highest of the day for the Hornets.

Julian Brown placed third in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing the event in 8.89 seconds. Brown also finished tenth in the 200-meter, with a time of 22.69 seconds.

Trenson Terry finished fifth in the Long Jump with a recorded distance of 6.52 meters. Hanqaamo Lintiso (4:38.19) and Hasan Gill (4:43.61) finished in fifth and eighth place respectively in the Mile Run. Caleb Giles (9:54.50) and Komlan Attiogbe (10:01.56) finished fifth and sixth place in the 3000-Meter.

The Hornets have a quick turnaround, as they will participate in the Towson Tigers Invitational tomorrow.
