Baltimore, MD (December 1) --- The Hornets place first with a score of 150 points, in what was an impressive season debut for DSU, at the Eastern Shore Cappy Anderson Invite.

Edwin Rosembert finishes first in the 60 meters with a career best time of 6.90 seconds. His time qualifies him for the IC4A/ECAC Championships, Siefa Yanquoi finishes in second (7.04 seconds), and Julius Allen places in third (7.11 seconds).

Michael Mills crosses the finish line in 23.05 seconds for a third-place finish in the 200 meters. Kavante Dawson places in sixth (23.36 seconds), Telvin Collins also finishes in the top ten (23.75 seconds).

Julius Allen finishes in seventh in the 400 meters with a time of 52.57 seconds. This is his second top ten performance of the day. Austin Godwin also finishes in the top-10 (53.66 seconds).

The Hornets have the top five performers in the 500 meters, spearheaded by Gerald Amobi who finishes first with a time of 1-minute-6.77 seconds (1:06.77). Julian Brown places in second (1:07.15), Donte Rolley-Williams places in third {1:07.49), fourth place finish for Kendall Leach (1:07.55) and fifth place finish for Keith Washington (1:09.04).  

Delaware State’s “B” team comprised of Kavante Dawson, Kendall Leach, Donte Rolley-Williams, and Edwin Rosembert, finishes in fifth place with a time of 3:32.98. Their “A” team which includes Julian Brown, Keith Washington, Gerald Amobi, and Julius Allen, records a time of 3:38.89.
