(Dover, Del). – Over the course of the 2015 season, which was the first for head coach Damion Drummond, the Delaware State cross country program competed in six meets. 

The season started with the UMES Lid-Lifter Invitational, where the women finished fourth (106 points) and the men placed fifth (138 points).

Delaware State had similar results the following week at the Hornet Invitational, as the women placed fourth (104 points) and the men finished fifth (132 points).

The Cappy Anderson Invitation soon followed, where the women took home sixth (173 points) and the men placed seventh (203 points).

The DSU Farm Run started off three consecutive home meets for the Hornets, whereas the women took home third (97 points) while the men finished sixth (161 points).

Both the men and women placed fifth with 109 points each the following week in the DSU Pre-Conference Run Invitational.

To end the season, the Hornets hosted the MEAC Championships for the second consecutive year.  This time around, the women placed ninth (223 points) and the men placed 12th (284 points).

As far as fastest times go, Ashley Robinson had the best performance for the women with her time of 20:27.00 in the MEAC Championships.  For the men, Emanuel Hitch had the fastest time for any male Hornet runner with his 19:07.44 time in the first meet of the season.
