Dover, Del. (Nov. 2, 2019) --- Newcomer John Crosby had 37 points and 11 rebounds to lead Delaware State to a 93-90 overtime victory over crosstown Wesley College today. Crosby, a senior transfer from Div. I Dayton, was had 10 field goals, including four three-pointers, and was 13 of 16 at the free throw line.
Pinky Wiley (jr.) added 17 points and a team-high five assists, while Lance Singh (so.) came off the bench to contribute 17 points (6-11 FGs) to the win.
Brian Cameron led Wesley with 33 points and topped all players with 14 rebounds in the contest.
The Hornets will tip-off their 2019-20 season at home this Friday (Nov. 8) against Rider. Game time is 7:00 p.m. in Memorial Hall.
