Dover, Del. (Apr. 23, 2019) --- Delaware State relief pitcher Jeremy Carrow (fr.) has been honored by the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference for his performance last week. Carrow has been selected as the MEAC Rookie-of-the-Week after tossing seven shutout innings in the Hornets’ 11-5 victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore on Apr. 19.

He allowed six hits and struck out a career-high nine batters without allowing a walk to earn his first collegiate win in the contest.

Carrow was a standout at Smyrna (Del.) High School before enrolling at Delaware State.

The DSU baseball team returns to action with a three-game series at Norfolk State this weekend. The Hornets and Spartans are scheduled to play single games on Fri. (Apr. 26) and 3:00 p.m., Sat. (Apr. 27) at 2:00 p.m. and Sun. (Apr. 28) at 1:00 p.m. at NSU’s Marty Miller Field.
