2015: Started all 20 games, totaling 1,598 minutes… Garnered Independent Conference All-Tournament honors… Finished in a two-way for the team lead in goals (5), which was the second most in program single-season history… Led DSU in points (12), which was the second most in DSU single-season history… Tallied two assists, which was good for second on the team… Led DSU in shots (34 – fourth most in DSU single-season history) and was second in shots placed on-goal (13 – seventh most in DSU single-season history)… Posted a .147 shooting percentage, along with a .382 shot on-goal percentage… Took two or more shots eight times, including a season-high six in DSU’s 11-0 victory over Hampton (Oct. 30) in the opening round of the Independent Conference Tournament… Went 2-for-3 in penalty-kick situations… Scored the game-winning goal by way of a penalty kick in DSU’s 2-0 victory at NJIT (Oct. 6)… Tallied second goal of the season in DSU’s 2-0 victory at Marist (Oct. 16)… Scored twice, along with recording an assist for five points in DSU’s 11-0 victory over Hampton (Oct. 30) in the opening round of the Independent Conference Tournament… Scored the game-winning goal (penalty kick) against SCSU (Nov. 1) in the championship round of the Independent Conference Tournament… On DSU’s all-time list, sits sixth in goals (6), seventh in assists (3), seventh in points (15), sixth in shots (57) and fifth in games played (67). 

2014: Earned First Team All-Independent Conference honors by College Sports Madness... Appeared in 16 games (1241 minutes), including 15 starts… Tallied 12 shots, including three placed on-goal for a .250 shot on-frame percentage… Notched a season-high three shots in DSU’s 3-0 win over Howard (Oct. 29)… Scored lone goal of the season in DSU’s 3-0 win over Howard (Oct. 29).    

2013: Appeared in 16 games, while making 13 starts… Took seven shots, with four placed on-frame for a .571 shot on-goal percentage… Registered two or more shots in two games. 

2012: Appeared in 15 games, while making eight starts… Registered one assist, which came in DSU’s 3-1 loss to Mount St. Mary’s (Sept. 23)… Took four shots, with one placed on-goal. 

High School:  Played in all 48 games for her high school, missing just her junior season with an injury ... finished career with eight goals and 16 assists ... named All-Housatonic as a senior.

Club:  Spent time with the Connecticut ODP, South Central Premier and Yankee United Blaze.

Personal:  Born November 3, 1994 in New London, Conn ... daughter of David and Amy Valente ... has two older brothers, Steven and David ... cousin, Brandon Powers, played football at Oregon State ... graduated in 2012 from Mark T. Sheehan High School in Wallingford, Conn. ... volunteered as a junior counselor at the Victory soccer summer camp ... majoring in nursing at Delaware State ... participated in ballet, tap and jazz for nine years.
