Dover, Del. (Apr. 28, 2017) --- Delaware State women's lacrosse will wrap up the fifth season in team history at home against Old Dominion in an Atlantic Sun contest on Saturday at Alumni Stadium. Game time is 5:00 p.m. The contest will also mark the final collegiate appearance for DSU seniors Nicole McCombs, Tai Galmore, Iman Hassan, Kayla Yurkanin, Brionna Watkins and Kiana Dawson. 

The Hornets have dropped their last eight games to stand at 1-9 overall and 1-8 in the ASUN. This is DSU's first season as a member of the league.

Old Dominion is 7-8 overall and 3-5 in ASUN contests.

This will be the first meeting between the teams.

Hassan is Delaware State's leader in goals scored (20), assists (9) and points (29). She is Delaware State's all-time leader with 51 career goals.

Yurkanin is second on the team with eight goals and 11 points

Old Dominion has lost three of its last four games, including a 10-8 setback to Mercer in its most recent outing. Conner Carson is tops on the Monarchs team with 33 goals and 38 points. Cydney Tuchtton is second on the team with 22 scores and 29 points.
