New York, NY (Jan. 13) --- Less than 24 hours after competing in the HBCU Battle at the Track in New York, the Hornets competed in the Towson Tiger Invitational.

Hanqaamo Lintiso had the highest finish of the day, placing second in the 800-meter with a time of 1-minute-57.52 seconds.

The 4 x 400 relay team, comprised of Edwin Rosembert, Kiyair Lambert, Kendall Leach, and Gerald Amobi, finished third with a time of 3:20.53.  Kiyair Lambert also finished fourth in the 60-meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 8.62 seconds.

Lambert’s time qualified him for the IC4A (also know as the “super-conference” meet).

Kavante Dawson placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles, with a recorded time of 8.35 seconds. Trenson Terry placed 7th in the same event, with a time of 8.62 seconds.

Up next for the Hornets is the University of Maryland Invitational on January 20th.
