The Delaware State University Sports Medicine Department's primary objective is to provide the highest quality of care to our student-athletes. We accomplish this through education, risk management and prevention of athletic injury. Secondly, we provide clinical evaluation, diagnosis and referrals. Finally, with effective immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning of injuries, we ensure proper recovery and return to play.
Our Sports Medicine staff strives to ensure that our student-athletes are provided with proper direction and counseling in all areas of physical, emotional and mental well-being.The team physicians have appointment times throughout the week and our orthopedic physician has weekly office hours, which can be scheduled through the Sports Medicine Department.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to working with you further.
