She also recorded the MEAC’s single-game high of 296 at the USBC regionals last season.
The Hornets also return senior Olivia Laird (Middletown, Del.), who posted a better than 183 average during the 2017-18 season. She also earned MEAC Bowler-of-the-Week honors last October.
Junior Samantha DeLong (Middleburg, Pa.) is also expected to be among the Hornets’ top competitors this season after averaging 182 during the 2017-18 campaign.
Junior Ashley Merritt (Landenberg, Pa.) and sophomore Melissa Ortega (Alexandria, Va.), along with newcomers Stefanny Toala (fr.; Tuscan, Ariz.) and Katie Robb (fr.; Swedesboro, N.J.) will vie for the other starting spots this season.
