Dover, Del. (Dec. 12, 2017) --- Delaware State placekicker Wisdom Nzidee (sr.; Stone Mountain, Ga.) will have a chance to display his talents before professional football scouts this week.

Nzidee has been selected to compete in the 8th Annual D-1 FCS Senior Scout Bowl this Saturday (Dec. 6) in Myrtle Beach, S.C.  The event is part of the 2017 International Scouting Showcase.

The FCS Senior Scout Bowl was created to honor top Division I FCS seniors, providing them another opportunity to perform at the college level, and serving as a free agent feeder system to North American and European professional leagues.

The International Scouting Showcase consists of three collegiate all-star games, two free-agent scout bowls, a national kicking championship and a pro-level combine.

Nzidee was 8-for-10 on field goal attempts (.800) and 14-of-16 on extra-point kicks as a senior this past season. He was successful on his first seven field goal kicks and was the national FCS percentage leader for six weeks during the 2017 campaign.

Also, Delaware State kicking coach A.J. Conley has been asked to assist on the FCS Scout Bowl staff. Conley has served with the the Hornets the past two seasons. In addition to working with Nzidee, he has aided in the success of Delaware State punter Fidel Romo-Martinez, a 2017 All-MEAC Second Team selection after leading the league with a 44.8 yard average this past season.
