Kane joined the Hornet’s coaching staff on February 18, 2019. Kane, a native of Dover, Delaware, successfully competed for Delaware State University from 2008-2012 and was the Hunt Seat captain during her Junior and Senior seasons. She was an Academic All-American for the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) and was an inductee to the Chi Alpha Sigma-National Scholar-Athlete Honor Society.
Kane began riding at age four and competed extensively before becoming a Hornet in 2008. She most recently has worked as the Assistant Coach of the Foxden Farm Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Team as well as full time for Delaware State Parks as their Enterprise Development Coordinator, where she oversaw business recruitment, created and managed public-private partnerships and managed and obtained corporate-level sponsorship for statewide programs and events. She was recognized in March of 2019 as a “She’s on Her Way” award recipient, an award that recognizes the achievements and celebrates the contributions of women leaders under 30 making a difference in the State of Delaware.
Caroline and her husband, Kevin were married in June of 2018 and reside in Camden, Delaware.
