Indianapolis, IN (Oct. 2, 2018) --- Delaware State’s Ana Candela Ferreyra Heit turned in an impressive performance at the Butler Fall Invitational this week. Heit was third among more than 60 individuals with a two-day score of 151 (+11), trailing only Lauren Tibbets of Butler (141) and Mary Parsons of Indiana (142) in the tourney.
Delaware State was ninth in the 10-team event with a combined team score of 666. Host Butler topped all teams with a score of 610. The Hornets posted an opening round score of 328, followed by 338 in Tuesday’s final round.
Heit followed an opening round of 74 on Monday with a mark of 77 today. She was tied for third among all competitors with three birdies, tied for fourth among competitors with an average of 3.25 in par three scoring and tied for third with 20 pars. Kanyakom Chothirunpanit was second on the Hornets with a two-day score of 168. She was two strokes better in the second round (83) than on the opening day.
Panisara Chimsuti posted a score of 173 in the two round to finish third on the Hornets.
