Waco, Tex. (Apr. 9, 2018) --- The Delaware State equestrian team has achieved another milestone. For the first time in team history, three DSU horses are listed among the nation’s best. The National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) has announced its 2018 Santa Cruz Animal Health Top 10 Horses, and Delaware State’s “Calvin,” “Lyle” and “Orkie” made the list.

This marks the third Top 10 selection for “Calvin” in the Horsemanship category. He was also honored in 2016 and 2017.

“Orkie” was also recognized in the Horsemanship rankings, while “Lyle” is DSU’s first All-America horse in the Reining category.

“This is a tremendous honor and another indication of the respect our program has achieved,” said Delaware State head equestrian coach Jen Ridgley.
