Dover, Del. (Mar. 7, 2018) --- Delaware State’s Alexis Neuer (so.; Lewisburg, Pa.) has added another Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference  honor to her collection.

Neuer has been selected as the MEAC’s Bowler-of-the-Week for a league-high fourth time this season.  She was cited this week for her performance at the Monmouth University Hawk Flight Invitational Mar. 2-4.

Neuer was named Most Outstanding Performer of the tournament after topping all 110 competitors with a total pinfall of 1,061 for a five-game average of 212.2.

She topped the 200 mark in three games, including a high of 258 to lead the Hornets past Felician.

A Preseason All-MEAC First Team selection, Neuer also earned conference Bowler-of-the-Week honors on Nov. 14, Nov. 21 and Jan. 23.

As of Feb. 26, she ranked 20th among all women’s college bowlers with an average of 206.6 per game.

Her other accolades this season include Kutztown Invitational All-Tournament Team and No. 3 Preseason Bowler-to-Watch for the 2017-18 season.

Delaware State bowling
