Ann Arbor, Mich. (Dec.21, 2017) --- Delaware State drops their fifth straight game, losing to #23 Michigan “Wolverines” 105-36.  Lanayjha Ashe led the Lady Hornets with 13 points. The sophomore guard also recorded two assists, and a steal on the night.

The Lady Hornets were up 4-0 after baskets by Syonah Williams and Ryan Jones to start the game.  Michigan took a 7-6 lead at the 5:35 mark U-M never trailed again and they led 25-14 after the first quarter.

Delaware State were held to just eight points combined in the second and third quarters, before scoring 14 in the fourth quarter.

DSU struggled shooting 14-of-63 (22.2%) from the field, and just 1-of-13 (7.7%) on three-point field goals.

Syonah Williams was second in scoring for the Lady Hornets with eight points. Ryan Jones added six points, five rebounds, and three steals.

U-M shot 43-of-70 (61.4%) and 9-of-21 (42.9) from three-point range.

Katelynn Flaherty led five Wolverines in double figures, with 22 points.
