Chicago, Ill. (Nov. 19, 2017) --- The Lady Hornets made just one-third of their shots, and they ended the Maggie Dixon Classic without a win.

DSU made 22-of-66 field goals (33%), and just 2-of-14 on three-point attempts (14%), Three Lady Hornets, NaJai Pollard (6-12 FGs), Kia Abrams (4-10 FGs; 2-5 3pt FGs), and A'nikeyawna Barber (5-15 FGs) scored 13 points.

Ole Miss converted on 43-of-86 field goal attempts (50%), they also made 15-of-38 three-point field goals (39%).

Madinah Muhammad led Ole Miss with 27 points (10-18 FGs; 4-9 3pt FGs), Shandricka Sessom added 24 points (9-12 FGs; 5-6 3pt FGs).

Ole Miss, which never trailed scored the first 11 points of the game, and led 30-8 to end the first quarter.

The Rebels largest lead was 53 points, with 1:32 remaining in the third.

NaJai Pollard was named to the Maggie Dixon Classic All-Tournament Team.

Delaware State’s next game will be at Kansas, Wednesday, Nov 22nd. Tip-off will be at 7:00 p.m.
