Smyrna, Del. (Sep 15, 2017) --- The Lady Hornets hosted their second cross country event in as many weeks. They backed up last week’s strong debut, with another third-place finish.

Junior college transfer Katarzyna Rosikon improved on her top ten finish from last week.  The native Myslowice, Poland led the charge for DSU again, this time putting together a top five time.

Newcomer Lanada Correia was not too far behind. The freshman from Gaithersburg, Maryland finished in the top ten for the first time in her collegiate career.

Sylvia Okafor (Soph. Woodbridge, Va), Ayress Stewart (Fr.  Fredrick, MD) and Cydney Davis (Soph. Upper Marlboro, MD) also placed in the top 20.

The Lady Hornets will head to Princess Anne, MD. for the UMES Cappy Anderson Invitational on Sept. 23. Game time still to be announced.
