The former Delaware State lacrosse standout is in her first year on the Hornet coaching staff. Prior to returning to her alma mater, Peets started the women’s lacrosse program at Div. II Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, W.V., and coached the team to its first-ever victory.
She also served as head girls varsity lacrosse coach at Dover (Del.) High School for one season, leading the team to the best single-season record in its history (10-5).
Peets was the first signee and graduate of the Hornet lacrosse program. She ranked third among all NCAA Division women’s lacrosse players in draw controls during her senior season
Before signing with the Hornets, she helped lead Monroe Community College (N.Y.) to 2011 National Junior College Athletic Association championship and 2012 NJCAA national title game. A 2011 All-NJCAA Region III Second Team selection, Peets tallied 56 goals and 32 assists in two seasons at Monroe CC.
She graduated summa cum laude from Delaware State with a bachelor’s in Physical Education in 2015.
