Dover, Del. (Dec. 7, 2017) --- The United Equestrian Conference has cited Delaware State’s Cheyenne Adams (sr., Wapato, Wash.) for her performances during the month of November.

Adams has been selected as the UEC Horsemanship Rider of the Month after two winning performances for the Hornets. The appearances were the first two National Collegiate Equestrian Association horsemanship competitions of her career.

In her victories over riders from nationally-ranked Fresno State and No. 1 Georgia, Adams posted an average score of 73.7 and earned Most Outstanding Performer honors in each.

Adams is the second DSU rider to earn United Equestrian Conference monthly honors this season, joining Hayley Anderson (sr.; New Boston, N.H.) who was selected as the league’s Equitation on the Flat Rider of the Month for October.
