DSU vs. MARSHALL Series (Marshall leads 1-0)
The Hornets and  Herd are meeting for just the second time. Marshall won the first meeting 90-62 exactly 18 years ago today (Jan. 2, 1985) in Huntington, W.V. Delaware State, under second-year head coach Joe Dean Davidson, posted a 12-17 overall record (9-4 MEAC) that season.
