DOVER (January 27, 2009) ? DSU Softball Head Coach Jeff Savage has announced that hitting expert Rob Crews has agreed to speak at the Delaware State Softball Winter Coaches Meeting on January 30.

Crews, the National Director of Hitting Instruction at Frozen Ropes Training Centers, will be the featured speaker.

"Having someone of that caliber agree to speak at our event is huge," said Savage. "Rob is the most sought after hitting coach in the country.

Besides the DSU staff, Delaware Coach BJ Ferguson and Bowling Green State Pitching Coach Janice Savage will also speak.

The Clinic will be held at the DSU Sports Annex which is located on 255 College Road starting at 9 a.m. The cost for the event is $50 pre-registration and $60 at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Delaware State Softball Program.
