Princess Anne, Md. (Sep. 22, 2019) --- Delaware State was fifth among nine teams in the 2019 Eastern Shore Cross Country Invite men's race on Saturday. The Hornets recorded a total team time of two hours-33-minutes-54.70 seconds. Navy was the overall team winner at 2:14:56.90, followed by Howard (2:27:12.90) and host Maryland-Eastern Shore (2:28.03.70).

Corey McGhie was the first Hornet to complete the 8K course, finishing 18^th among 69 runners with a time of 28-minutes-42.30 seconds.

Hasan Gill was DSU's second finisher, placing 23^rd with a time of 29:14.60.
