Women's Golf DSU Athletic Media Relations

HORNETS 10TH AFTER 2 ROUNDS OF WILLIAM & MARY INVITE

Williamsburg, Va. (Sep. 8, 2019) --- The Delaware State women's golf team is in 10th place after two rounds of the 10-team William & Mary Invitational, the season opening competition for the Hornets.

DSU has a total team score of 669 (+93) after the opening two rounds today. The Hornets posted a first round score of 332 and totaled 337 in round two.

Boston University is the team leader at 599 (+23). Radford (603) and Wofford (603) and tied for second, while host William & Mary (604) and Princeton (607) round out the top five.

Nattavadee Khunsri is Delaware State's top performer with a two-round total of 172 to tie for fifth among the more than 60 individual competitors. Khunsri had a first round score of 75, but improved three strokes to  72 in the second round.

The William & Mary Invitational wraps up with third round play on Monday.
