Baltimore, Md. (Apr. 2, 2019) --- The Delaware State women's tennis team had a three-match win streak snapped in a 4-2 loss to Morgan State in a MEAC contest this afternoon.

The Bears won four of the five contested singles matches, although the Hornets picked up a point for two wins in doubles.

Delaware State's Sofia Rachi pulled out a victory at No. 1 singles, defeating Dana Santiago 4-6, 6-4, 3-1.

Rachi also teamed with Anastasia Belkina to defeat Morgan State's Peggy Rooke and Asmara Rose 6-2 in the No. 1 doubles match.

The Hornets (6-8; 1-2 MEAC) were also credited with forfeit wins in No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
