HORNET CRUISE BY EAGLES FOR THIRD STRAIGHT WIN

Dover, Del. (Mar. 31, 2019) --- Delaware State won all six singles matches and earned the doubles point in a 7-0 victory over Coppin State in a MEAC women's tennis contest today. The victory was DSU's third in a row.

The Hornets won four singles matches in straight sets.

Cassandra Boltman (No. 3) and Aayushi Chouhan (No. 5) each won by 6-2, 6-0 scores.

Anastasia Belkina posted a 6-2, 2-1 victory in the No. 2 contest, while Akina Polyvana was 7-5, 7-5 winner at No. 4.

DSU's Sofia Rachi needed three sets for a comeback win in the No. 1 match.

The Hornets were awarded the No. 6 singles contest by forfeit.

Boltman and Chouhan teamed up for a 6-1 victory in No. 2 doubles.

DSU won the No. 3 doubles match by forfeit.
