Collegeville, Pa (Mar. 24) --- The Delaware State Lady Hornets started their outdoor schedule at the Ursinus College Outdoor Invitational.
Ahnrea McCaskill placed second in the 200 meters with 26.90 seconds.
T'Keyah Macklin finished in fourth with a time of 12.78 seconds in the 100 meters and fourth in the 200 meters at a recorded time of 26.92 seconds.
Sylvia Okafor was second in the 400 meters crossing the finish line at 1-minute-02.07 seconds (1:02.07) Lakendra Harpe (1:03.91) and Kayla Harris (1:04.84) also placed in the top ten.
Ahnrea McCaskill finished second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.84 seconds.
Donyae Shelton finished first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:10.70. Sierra Cruz (1:15.69) placed in third, Janae Pitt (1:17.29) was fifth and Jashella Jenkins (1:19.86) was also in the top ten for the 400-meter hurdles.
The 4 x 400 relay team: Lakendra Harpe, Donyae Shelton, Ahnrea McCaskill and Nissa Martinez-Smith finished fifth with a time of 4:33.51.
The Lady Hornets also did a good job in the field portion of the Invitational as well.
Ahnrea McCaskill was first in the High Jump with a mark of 1.55 meters.
Next on the agenda for the Hornets is the Savannah State University Twilight Invite, March 2nd at Savannah, Ga.
