Chesapeake, Va. (Mar. 22, 2019) --- Delaware State has advanced to the second round of the 2019 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Bowling Tournament. The Hornets defeated Howard in the opening round, winning a traditional match and a best-of-five Baker set.

2019 All-MEAC First Round selection Alexis Neuer (jr.) led DSU in the traditional game with a score of 221.

Delaware State, seeded third in the tournament, will face No. 1 seed Maryland-Eastern Shore in a second round contest at 2:00 p.m. today.
