Pittsburgh, Pa (Dec. 18) --- The Lady Hornets lose a heartbreaker, after falling to Robert Morris 64-63, in a Tuesday morning contest.
Trailing by one-point Delaware State's guard Lanayjha Ashe pushes the ball up court, passes to Keke Barber who takes a contested shot, which misses off the rim as time expires.
Robert Morris forward Ire Ozzy-Momodu grabs the offensive rebounds and finishes with the layup off the glass, with seven seconds left to take a 64-63 lead.
Ashe finds NaJai Pollard for another short corner jumper, giving DSU a 63-62 lead with 1:44 left.
Robert Morris guard Esther Castedo hits a jumper giving them a 62-61 lead with just under two minutes left.
Shonnyvelle Regalado crosses from right to left and elevates for the midrange jumper giving DSU a 61-60 lead.
Nadege Pluviose gathers a loose ball in flips it in from the paint, giving Robert Morris a 60-59 lead.

NaJai Pollard hits a step-back jumper giving DSU their first lead at 57-56, with 4:17 remaining. It was the Lady Hornets first lead in the game since they lead 19-16 with 28 seconds left in the first quarter.
DSU trailed 53-46 heading into the fourth quarter.
Delaware State trailed by as many as 15 points, with 8:31 left in the third quarter, and by as many as 14 points with 3:24 remaining. The Lady Hornets responded with a 9-0 run ending with a layup from NaJai Pollard to cut the deficit to 51-46 with 1:09 remaining in the third quarter.
The Lady Hornets trailed 38-27 heading into halftime, after Robert Morris guard Nina Augustin hit a buzzer beating jumper.
Delaware State jumped out to a 17-7 lead, after a three-pointer from Lanayjha Ashe. Robert Morris responded with an 9-0 run to cut the deficit to just one point. DSU held on to a three-point lead heading into the second quarter, after NaJai Pollard sinks in a jumper with 28 seconds left in the first quarter.
Delaware State shot 26-of-50 (52.0%) from the field, just 3-of-10 (30.0%) on three-point attempts, and 8-of-13 (61.5%) from the free-throw line.
NaJai Pollard scored a season high 36 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
Lanayjha Ashe was the only other Lady Hornet in double-digits with 10 points, she also added seven assists, and two steals.
Robert Morris made 25-of-70 (35.7%) field goal attempts, 8-of-33 (24.2%) from beyond-the-arc, and 6-of-11 (54.5%) from the charity stripe.
