2017: Team co-captain and starting defensive lineman  … competed in all 11 games … second among team defensive linemen with 18 total tackles … tallied four solo tackles and assisted on 14 others … also credited with one tackle-for-loss and ranked fourth in the MEAC and 13th among all FCS players with two blocked kicks … recorded two tackles (one solo) and a punt blocks vs. Hampton on Sep. 8 … tallied his second punt block of the season vs. Norfolk State (Sep. 23) … had four tackles, including one behind the line-of-scrimmage (-3), in 17-14 victory over South Carolina State (Oct. 21) … collected three tackles (one solo) at Savannah State (Nov. 4) ... had  one tackle and an assist in season finale vs. Florida State (Nov. 18) ...participated in Hornets’ 2017 spring drills"
