TATE AND DORNEVIL NAMED DSU ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Dover, Del. (Dec. 10, 2012) --- Men's basketball sophomore Tahj Tate (Easley, S.C.) and track & field junior Ketsia Dornevil (Phila., Pa.) have been selected as the Delaware State University Student-Athletes-of-the-Week.

Tate scored a game-high 24 points and led the Hornets with 10 rebounds in DSU's 73-67 overtime victory at Delaware on Saturday. He has tallied 24 points in each of the Hornets' last two games, and leads the club in scoring at 15.5 points per game.

Dornevil recorded a second place finish in the 800 meter run in the Hornets' season opening indoor track & field meet at Navy on Dec. 6.

She was third in the 600-meter run at Princeton on Dec. 9. In addition, she ran the second leg of the Hornets' fourth place 4x800 meter relay team at Princeton.
