Dover, Del. (Aug. 24, 2010) --- The Delaware State University baseball team has announced plans for its annual alumni weekend this fall.

The highlight of the weekend is the third annual alumni game featuring Hornets of the past.

The 2011 DSU baseball team will take on a squad of former Hornets in the Saturday, Oct. 23 alumni game at Soldier Field on the Delaware State campus. Registration is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. The alumni game gets underway at 10:30

The baseball alumni weekend will begin with a mixer on Friday, Oct. 22 at Uno's Pizzeria on Route 13 across from the DSU campus. The cost is $40 per person, and $50 for a family.
