Dover, Del. (Apr. 20, 2010) --- The Delaware State women's outdoor track and field team had eight top 10 performances en route to a ninth place finish at the Morgan State Legacy Meet last weekend.

Avery Cloud-Klein had the Hornets' best performance, finishing third in the 1500-meter run with a time of 5:00.09.

DSU's Krystina Muhammad was sixth in the triple jump with a top leap of 11.26 meters (36-11.50 feet). Wendi Clark was ninth in the triple jump (10.54 m).

Delaware State's Dashera Richardson was seventh in the 800-meter run (2:21.28), while Nykeisha Sewell (4111 points), Kristen Johnson (4091) and Tracey Fan Fan (4040), were seventh to ninth, respectively, in the heptathlon.

DSU's Victoria McGroary was ninth in the pole vault (2.25 m).
