The Game
The struggling Lady Hornets visit Greensboro, N.C., to take on North Carolina A&T, the top team in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). Delaware State brings a six-game losing streak into the contest. The Lady Hornets fell to 3-18 overall and 1-7 in the MEAC after Monday's 48-44 loss to Howard. DSU was again plagued by poor shooting, hitting just 15 of 62 shots from the field (24.2%). The defending MEAC champion  Aggies are 14-7 overall and 8-0 in league play. NCA&T ran its winning streak to eight with a 67-56 victory over Morgan State last Monday.

This will be the 55th meeting between the teams. North Carolina A&T holds a 30-24 lead in the series although Delaware State won the last contest between the teams. The Hornets and Aggies met twice last season, with each team winning on its home court. North Carolina A&T rallied from a 15-point first half deficit to win last year's first meeting 56-51 in Greensboro, N.C. The Lady Hornets turned the tables in last year's second meeting, overcoming a 16-point second deficit to win 68-66 in a nationally-televised game (ESPNU) in Dover, Del. This is the only scheduled meeting between the teams this season.
