Dover (Dec. 31, 2010) ---  Delaware State University English rider Kayla Blair has been selected to compete in the Winter Equestrian Festival Collegiate Challenge for the second straight year. The national event will be held in February.

In the 2010 Winter Equestrian Festival, Blair was selected as one of sixteen riders to compete in the head-to-head competition over fences. She won the first bracket against a rider from Southern Methodist University with a score of 74. In the second bracket, Blair fell to a competitor from No. 1 ranked Auburn University by a point (60-59). 

Blair was Delaware State's team MVP in fences last season.
