Dover, DE --- Delaware State University outside hitter Erica Tajchman (fr. Omaha, NE) has earned her second consecutive MEAC Volleyball Rookie-of-the-Week award. Tajchman recorded 49 kills (.172 attack percentage) and 42 digs in a 2-2 week for the Hornets. She posted double figures in kills and digs in DSU's wins over St. Francis (Pa.) and Robert Morris in the UMES/Comfort Inn Classic last weekend. Tajchman is second on the Hornets with 145 kills. She has 10 or more kills in each of the last five matches.
