DSU ?COMMUNITY DAY? MOVED TO MEMORIAL HALL

Dover, Del. (Aug. 6, 2012) --- The threat of thunderstorms this afternoon has prompted a change of venue for the Delaware State University team's  "Community Day" this evening. The event, which gets underway at 6:00 p.m., will be held inside the Memorial Hall Gymnasium on the DSU campus.

Hornet players and coaches will be available for pictures and autographs. The event will also feature food, music, prizes and giveaways. The first 100 fans age 14-and-under will receive free T-shirts.

"We look forward to spending time with the fans that support us each year, especially as we approach the new season," said Delaware State head coach Kermit Blount. "Strong fan support is vital to a team's success; and we look forward to big turn outs at Alumni Stadium this season."
