Hornets Facing Toughest Test Yet
 After Howard handed DSU their first conference loss of the year, the Hornets will now face their toughest opponent to to date.  The Navy Mids (8-3-1, 1-0) come into Monday's contest having won their last three contests.  Navy is also the defending Patriot League Tournament Champions.   These two teams have never met.    

Head Coach Nitan Soni  
DSU Head Coach Nitan Soni is in his first season with the Hornets.  He registered his first win on 9/14 against Concordia and helped the Hornets register their first three-game unbeaten streak in school history (9/14-9/26).  He is 2-7-1, this season.   

During the 2007 season, Soni served as an assistant coach for Temple University's men's soccer team.  From August, 2005 to May, 2007, Soni was an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Wesley College in Dover, Del. During the 2006 season, he helped lead the Wolverines to a 14-5-1 overall record. That season, Wesley earned its first ever top five regional ranking and was in the top 10 among all Division III schools in scoring defense. 

The 2008 Hornets   
Junior Danielle Miller leads the team with three goals and seven points.   

Goalkeeper Courtney Haas has played all every minute so far and has posted a 2.81 GAA.  She has 90 saves in the 10 contests.    

The Hornets, as a team, have only committed 70 fouls compared to their opponents' 80.   

Junior Savitre Bachoo
|Junior Savitre Bachoo has seven career goals, good for first all-time at DSU.  She has 1-2-4 on the season. 

Navy Player to Watch - Senior Kristen Laraway 
Senior Kristen Laraway is one of the senior leaders on this year's Navy squad.  She leads the team with four goals and 11 points.  In 2007, she appeared in all 23 matches, accumulating six assistst.  In 2006, she appeared in 22 matches, racking up four goals and 10 points.  Sophomore Rachael Lee leads the team with one goal and two points.  Last season, she led the team with four goals and was tied for the team lead with 10 points.
